Events
1. VOCATIONAL COURSE:
Students of our school as well as other schools of Classes VIII-XII may take admission in our Vocational courses (Tailoring and Toy-making). Guardians may also take admission. The fees per course is Rs. 170 /- for our school and Rs. 310 /- for other school (one-time payment for 6-months). These courses are totally Government approved. After completion of these six months courses, everyone will get a valuable Government approved certificate.
2. CAREER COUNSELLING:
In our school, a very initiative programme of Career Counselling is conducted for Madhyamik and Higher Secondary (H.S.) passed students every year. Infact, in this Pandemic situation, this programme was conducted through virtual medium by teachers of all subjects from well-recognized Institutions in the year 2020. Also, in this year 2021, the situation is still same as that of previous year; the Career Counselling Programme is going to start again in virtual medium from 21.06.2021. The main objective of conducting this programme is to help students overcome their immediate problems in taking decision to study their own choice of subject enabling them to excel in that field. It also helps them to understand their own strengths and weaknesses with regard to a subject and let them know what career they would be suited for.
3. INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION:
Every year on 15th August, Independence Day is celebrated across the nation as it is a historical day for India. Our school also organizes Flag hoisting ceremonies and cultural programs on this day annually to pay homage to those who led down their lives for the Independence of our nation.
4. EXCURSION:
Every year we arrange excursion. This year we arranged an excursion to BITM (Birla Industrial and Technological Museum) for the students of Class V to Class VIII and Science City for rest of the students under the supervision of teachers.
5. MID-DAY MEAL:
We follow the menu chart provided by the Government strictly and also provide chicken meal once in every month. We strictly maintain the hygienic rules and regulations in providing MDM.
6. BOOK FAIR:
Every year, we organize Book Fair in our school compound. Books are a source of knowledge. Book fairs bring many rare and unknown books in place. Books on Biographies,Autobiographies, Literature, Science and many other fields are available in the book fair which induces interest of students in reading books.
7. FOOD FESTIVAL:
Annually, Food Festival is also organized in our school by the students of Higher Secondary Section. They prepare delicious food of different tastes and present them at a very reasonable price.
